Non-EU Cooperation

By cooperation with the Non-EU countries we want to broaden our experience in the field of inter cultural learning and diversity. Going outside beyond the boarders of European Union we give ourself a chance to get to know new cultures, that diverged from variable bases and were evolving in strongly different circumstances then the countries of actual European Union areas.

Non-EU cooperation activities can be divided according to the countries taking part in them:

  • Partner Countries of the Region EECA (Eastern Europe and Caucasus Area countries): Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Russian Federation, Ukraine; In each of these countries STRIM has established contacts with organizations that continue to work, mainly in the EVS
  • SEE (South-East Europe countries): Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia; We have completed a series of volunteer projects, and our members have participated in numerous training courses in these countries.
  • EURO-MED countries (Countries neighbourhooding with Mediterranean Sea): Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestinian Authority, Syria , Tunisia and Turkey; Here, too, our cooperation was based mainly on Volunteerism and training.
  • Latin America countries: Argentina, Brasilia, Chile, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay. So far, we have completed two projects with these countries: 3 volunteers were hosted and we organized an exchange project between Europe and Latin America.
