Cluj-Napoca Volunteer Center w Rumunii poszukuje 8 wolontariuszy na 4-miesięczny EVS. Celem projektu, który odbędzie się w dniach 1 luty – 31 maj 2011 będzie przygotowanie Międzynarodowego Tygodnia Wolontariatu. Organizacja właśnie prowadzi nabór kandydatów. Cluj-Napoca Volunteer Center is looking for 8 volunteers for an EVS project in Romania (short term) starting on the 1st of February and ending on the 31st of May 2011. The main focus of the project is planning and organizing the National Volunteer Week (9-15th of May 2011).
The National Volunteer Week (NVW) is a national event with tradition in Romania, as a consequence 2011 will represent the year of the anniversary 10th edition. Our experience so far has shown us that the NVW gets bigger and more important for the community every year. Cluj-Napoca Volunteer Center is the coordinator organization for NVW in Cluj-Napoca and for example in 2009 we had 12 events in Cluj-Napoca such as Organizations Fair, Cleaning Action, Recycling Workshops, Activities for children, Activities for Elderly, Volunteer Olympics, etc.
With 2011 being the European year of Volunteering our plans are to make a visible and complex NVW, trying to raise the quality and the impact of the events.
As part of this EVS project, the volunteers will be responsible with:
Ø Organizing at least 14 events during this week
Ø creating a strategy for promoting the events
Ø recruiting local volunteers to involve in the events
Ø identify appropriate partners for the events
Ø collaborate with local partners including local authorities
Ø communicating with the media
Ø creating the promotional materials
Cluj-Napoca Volunteer Center will offer support for the volunteers (accommodation, food money, local transport, pocket money, medical insurance, 90% of the transportation costs, training, language lesson, mentoring support, etc)
